Planning Outlook for all mountain areas from Friday, 3rd September, 2010
Latest indications are for continued fine weather into next week, with a weakening front bringing a little rain, making little if any progress into mainland western Scotland on Sunday. Southeasterly winds will strengthen and although visibility will remain very good, haze levels will increase day by day across most mountain areas. The fine weather is likely to last longest over Scotland, where in the north, it may remain dry until next Thursday.
