Planning Outlook

All mountain areas of Britain from Tuesday 26th September 2017

During the first half of the week, an almost stationary front centred down the the spine of the country will give bursts of rain, before petering out by late Tuesday. This will bring a lot of low cloud to the mountains and there will be a marked haze. Best of the conditions will be across the northwest Highlands and at times western Wales. From the middle of next week, more typical southwest winds will bring bands of rain, low cloud, and at times strong winds, countrywide; interspersed by some largely dry and fine days.
