Planning Outlook

All mountain areas of Britain from Thursday 21st November 2019

Areas of low pressure lying to the west & southwest of Britain will make gradual progress across the country later this week. A slow lift of temperature, although winter conditions will prevail across higher Scottish mountains through the weekend. Even next week in the Highlands, periods of thaw are expected to be short-lived. Occasional snowfalls. Least precipitation again in the far north/northwest. Tops in England & Wales more commonly above freezing point. Periods of rain or showers coming in from the south/southwest. Winds varied through weekend, but risk bouts of gales next week.
