A much wetter and most extensively in Scotland stormy period: Across Highland Scotland, there will be a series of freeze thaw cycles. Total precipitation will be considerable over western Scotland (but one or two bouts of heavy rain on all western mountains). Severe or occasionally storm force winds, will be most frequent across the Scottish Highlands.
