Planning Outlook

All mountain areas of Britain from Sunday 22nd April 2018

A change to a fresher westerly regime will have taken place by Sunday, which will continue throughout the week ahead - wind speeds varied, intermittently gale force. Cooler temperatures and precipitation almost daily; mainly in the form of showers and falling as snow at times across the Munros. Lowest cloud in the west, often shrouding the mountains, but breaks to higher tops in eastern areas. Often just below freezing on higher Scottish summits, and near zero on high tops in England & Wales.
