Many places often dry, but there will be a few bursts of rain around, these concentrated toward E/NE Scotland in the afternoon/evening, chance of a rumble of thunder. Cloud often above many hills. Wind fairly light. Feeling warm and quite humid again.

Occasional rain, local bursts mostly far northeast later.

Patches of rain most widely in the morning, generally amounting to very little, but may give a brief burst of rain. By afternoon, the focus of local heavy showers will be eastern Sutherland and Caithness, with a chance of isolated thunder.

Cloud on the hills?

May persist west coast, often above many hills elsewhere.

Banks of cloud focused around Skye and west coast in morning, and may linger on some slopes here much of the day, typically lifting above 700-800m. Toward Great Glen and Ben Wyvis, most cloud above 900-1000m, with lower patches briefly around showers.

Pressure will be fairly low, and a southwesterly airflow will prevail later this week and into the weekend. Rain frequent, with some heavy falls at times, with local variations - likely concentrated on Wales/northern England on Friday into Saturday. Cloud often covering hills, although there will be breaks. Wind typically fairly light, but strengthening intermittently. Some days feeling warm and humid, but overall temperatures close to average.
