A warm and humid day with extensive low cloud affecting many hills and pulses of thundery rain moving north through the morning followed by further clusters of showers or thunderstorms. Becoming largely dry through the afternoon across Wales as winds veer southwesterly. Best of the cloud breaks will be towards the west coast.

A very warm and humid week ahead, will become hot and exceptionally humid for a few days from around the middle of the week with the risk of isolated bursts of rain/thunderstorms; although many areas will miss these and stay dry. Some periods of low cloud across the hills; especially focused across eastern hills. Winds from an east or southeasterly direction and blustery at times. Increasing risk of a thundery breakdown over the weekend with fresher conditions arriving from the west.
